Phoenix Union Coding Academy

Harris provided and installed the mechanical equipment and condensate piping for the Phoenix Union Coding Academy. This new, 40,693-square foot school contains classrooms, maker’s lab, divided classroom with moveable walls, two labs and a full gym/cafeteria. The project included several specialty features which Harris was able to install successfully. Gopher Resource Afterburner

Harris installed a new afterburner for Gopher Resource’s Tampa facility. The scope included installation of a new afterburner, support structure, platforms, walkways and necessary piping and duct to make operational. The new afterburner was installed in an operating lead recycling smelter plant. Harris personnel needed to safely perform their work in an environment filled with lead dust and with ambient temperatures of 131 degrees Fahrenheit. Cannon Falls High School Renovation

The Cannon Falls High School Ventilation Improvement project had a very aggressive schedule. Nearly all the work needed to be completed during the summer months while school was not in session. At the peak, we had 40 people working on-site, in addition to those fabricating in the shop. American Airlines Office and Data Center Renovation

Harris helped American Airlines renovate their office and data center to adjust to changing business needs. Construction took place in four phases to accommodate the occupants. One phase of the project scope included removal of seven existing fluid cooler fan sections and replacing them with new fan sections. East Valley Bus Operations Center

This project included the renovation of the existing East Valley Bus Operations Center. Scope of work included removing and replacing 34 existing under-floor air distribution terminal boxes located in the administration building. This work was completed in phases to accommodate staff working in the building during construction. UNLV Science and Engineering Building

The Science and Engineering Building (SEB) is a state-of-the-art facility located on the campus of the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (UNLV). When the building was first designed, UNLV wanted a research facility that was not only innovative, but energy efficient and they turned to Harris to make that a reality. Molycorp Project Phoenix is a remote, heavy rare earth concentrate facility located in Mountain Pass, California. U of U Marriott Library Phases I, II, III (2015-2018)

Harris worked to improve the quality of the University of Utah Marriott Library’s occupant comfort by providing a retrofit of variable air volume (VAV) air handling systems and controls including piping modifications to relocate water pipes from above the Rare Books Vault. To avoid disrupting students and faculty, Harris made special arrangements to work during fall break when the library had fewer users.
