St. Olaf College Kildahl Hall

U of M Combined Heat and Power Retrofit

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Expansion Phase II

Harris partnered with JW McClenahan and DPR Construction to design, coordinate and install complete HVAC systems for the new Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital (LPCH). Utilizing Lean Construction techniques and BIM/VDC technology, Harris fabricated and installed over 1.7 million pounds of ductwork, 19 air handlers and related HVAC equipment serving this 521,000-square foot state-of-the-art LEED Gold medical facility in the heart of the Silicon Valley. Solana Solar Generating Station

Harris completed a total of six projects for the Solana Generating Station. The solar power plant located near Gila Bend, Arizona features parabolic shaped mirrors mounted on structures that track the sun and concentrate the sun’s rays to provide heat to power a conventional turbine. Children’s Hospital Addition

In August 2008, Harris began a 275,000-square foot addition to the existing Minneapolis Children’s Hospital consisting of an eight-story vertical expansion, a new central plant and front entry along with extensive renovations. American Iron Metal Shredder

Harris was hired by scrap metal recyclist American Iron & Steel Company as the general contractor to build a new, state-of-the-art enclosed metal shredder. The project included building the facility to house the shredder, along with the plumbing, HVAC, electrical, process equipment (shredder and conveyors), dust control system, walkways and platforms.
