Verizon Data Centers

For over 30 years, Harris has been the HVAC contractor of choice for Verizon Communications, a large communications and data provider based out of Basking Ridge, NJ. We received our master subcontractor agreement with Verizon in 1990. In preparation for the rollout of the nationwide 5G wireless network, Verizon has made tremendous investments to update their existing data centers to facilitate the new servers needed to implement this new technology. They own over 600 switching sites and data centers in the DMV area.

Most of the projects consist of large refrigeration equipment with some chilled water sites. All projects are plan and spec and competitively bid amongst pre-qualified contractors. Harris has been the prime contractor on all jobs we were invited to bid on. The customer decided to make this their standard because of our track record and ability to get the jobs done on their aggressive schedules when no one else can.
