Tucson Arizona Temple

In 2012, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced plans to build the first Temple in Tucson, Arizona. The Tucson Arizona Temple will serve as a place of worship for the more than 30,000 active Latter-day Saints living in the Tucson area. The Tucson Arizona Temple will be the sixth temple built in Arizona. President Dieter Uchtodorf, the second counselor of the First Presidency of the Church, says the temple is for people who are members of the church and who are not members of the church.

The Tucson Arizona Temple sits on a 7-acre site in the Catalina Foothills. Unlike other Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temples, the Tucson Arizona Temple features a dome-shaped cupola. Harris provided BIM, Construction Management, Cost Estimating, HVAC, Plumbing and Preconstruction Services for the project.
