Malouf Mezzanine Expansion

Harris was awarded the Malouf Mezzanine Expansion design-build project for Malouf Fine Linens. The scope of the project included turning warehouse space into a two-level mezzanine office/retail/photo area for the client. Malouf came to Harris, with the help of Big D Construction, with a design concept they wanted to execute, including a new VRF system to suit their needs for the cooler climate of their location.

Harris designed an HVAC and plumbing system that included 4-pipe fan coils, a new set of boilers, a chiller and piping to condition their space comfortably. Our scope as a team included design, plumbing, mechanical piping, HVAC and controls. Harris also coordinated with Malouf’s designer to make sure the plumbing and ductwork made the space look functional and comfortable, as well as appealing. Harris took the time to find the right plumbing fixtures, some shipped from around the world, and move duct work to fit the client’s design aesthetics. In the end, the project was a complete success which resulted in more work with the client.
