Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Visitor Quarters Building

Harris bid this project as a hard bid project and was able to secure the project through our experience in this type of construction. The new building is 164,200 square feet and includes 262 new guest rooms. It has guest laundries, business center, training rooms, and exercise rooms. Harris installed a complete chilled and heating water central plant that included over 4 miles on hydronic piping on the project along with vertical stacked four pipe fan coils and multiple dedicated outside air and energy recovery systems. Harris installed over 80,000lbs of sheet metal ductwork. The plumbing systems included over 10 miles of domestic water and waste piping systems. The plumbing systems included 804 plumbing fixtures and a complete domestic hot water heating plant to keep up with the building demand. Harris installed a complete controls system to match the base standards.
