Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Center

The new Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Center was built to address growing community needs. The new 123,000-square foot, four-story facility has space for innovative technology and increased patient capacity.

Throughout preconstruction, the project team successfully collaborated and resolved logistical complexities associated with an extremely tight site, design redirection and modifications to the project. The team overcame the obstacles associated with a very limited project space and the challenges associated with working in a operational medical facility.

Harris was able to successfully connect the new Heart & Vascular Center with the existing medical office building via an underground tunnel, all while maintaining complete patient access and full operation of the existing facility.
