The Real Harris: Meet Veronica Kramer

Tell us about your background. How did you get your start in the construction/service/BAS business?

When I moved to Arizona a little over 20 years ago, I had been a supervisor for UPS for the previous seven years and I was looking for a change. I met a new friend that was looking for a construction coordinator and she sent me the job description.  I wasn’t exactly sure that this was the change I was looking for, nor did I have an ounce of experience but thought I would give it a try. I fell in love with the construction industry almost immediately!  Within 2 years, I moved up from coordinator to the Construction and Facilities Manager.

What drew you to Harris? What makes you stay?

Honestly, the same thing that drew me to Harris is the same reason I stay,  MY TEAM!  During my interview, I felt so comfortable right away and just knew Harris was where I belonged.

I am so proud of how much we have accomplished with in a short period of time.

What is one thing Harris employees wouldn’t know about you?

Growing up, I wanted to be a Lawyer.

What drew you to this industry?

I kind of fell into the industry.  However, being part of a project from beginning to end, being part of the success as well as helping with the challenges is why I have stayed in the industry.

What do you wish the public knew about Harris?
