I started my internship with AECOM-Hunt in summer 2019. My first project was the MSG Sphere in 2020, which lasted until late 2023. I have since completed two high-rise tower guestroom remodels located on the Las Vegas Strip and many other Las Vegas Strip renovations.

What drew you to Harris? What makes you stay?

Harris was recommended to me by one of my colleagues who’s currently working in our Las Vegas BIM department. After researching Harris’ vision and values, I felt it strong align with mine. The endless opportunities to advance my skillset and career is what makes me excited to come to work every day!

My team is the best part of my day! I feel very supported by them. There’s nothing better than liking what you do and the people around you.

What is the best part about your position (the day-to-day, people, a special project you were involved with)?

The best part of my role as an Asisstant Project Manager is the projects. While working in Las Vegas construction, you’ll see variety of construction projects, ranging from major sporting stadiums and giant spherical music venues to conventional resorts and hotels. You could never get bored!

What traits do you think are important for someone in your role to be successful?

As an APM, it is essential to have good time management and organization. In Las Vegas, our projects are very fast paced, and it makes a huge difference to be a few steps ahead and familiar.

What are your main responsibilities and initiatives that you lead?

My responsibilities as an Asisstant Project Manager varies from project to project. My focus is maintaining process, protocols, and procedures of project management. Among my top initiatives is the creation of a positive work environment where everyone feels appreciated and important. I think a positive attitude is contagious!

What are you passionate about at work?

I’m passionate about striving for great results. I am always looking for new ways to improve my own skillset to generate better results. I am also often looking for opportunities to do team building events and motivating my peers.

How do you like to re-charge?

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outside in nature and walking/playing with my dog. I enjoy getting involved with community volunteering as well.

What keeps you up at night?

Feeling like there was something I needed to do/write down, but then not being able to remember what at that time.

What are you most proud of at Harris?

I’m most proud of our team! I believe we have the most hard-working, driven and focused team in the mechanical construction industry.

What is one thing Harris employees wouldn’t know about you?

I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Being a part of the construction in the city I am from is very exciting to me. I am happy to be a part of Vegas’ development.

What drew you to this industry?

I had no initial ties in the industry before my internship. I was drawn in by the challenge and the opportunity to develop the city I grew up in.

What do you wish the public knew about Harris?

I wish the public knew more about Harris’ dedication to quality. This applies to our quality of work, customer service, fabrication, design and so much more!

What inspires you? What motivates you?

My younger siblings are my biggest motivators. I hope to be the greatest role model to them one day.
