Aligned Energy

Harris was hired as the mechanical contractor for the Aligned Energy Data Center by Okland Construction. Aligned Energy is an infrastructure technology company that offers colocation and build-to-scale solutions to cloud, enterprise, and managed service providers. The company strives to utilize intelligent infrastructure to deliver data centers like a utility—accessible and consumable as needed.

Prefabrication was a key factor in the success of this project. In a matter of minutes, the team was able to install 200’ of 6″ pre-fabricated pipe using unique pipe cradles assembled in the pre-fabrication shop and shipped to the jobsite. Totaling 1800’, these cradles carried four 40′ to 50′ lengths of pipe, at a time, that were lifted with a crane and flown into location. The pipe racks were then loaded on the trailer in the order they needed to be installed, making the field installation quick and efficient.
